After decades in business, one thing still excites me:
The next opportunity.
Experience is valuable, but experience should never make us stop learning.
Markets change. Technology changes. Consumer behavior changes. New generations bring new ideas and expectations.
That means there will always be something new to understand.
My focus today is on continuing to develop businesses, strengthen existing relationships and establish new partnerships across markets.
I am particularly interested in opportunities where different worlds meet—real estate and technology, local markets and international networks, established businesses and new ideas.
But growth alone is not enough.
I want the businesses we build to create lasting value for the people involved: our customers, employees, suppliers, partners and communities.
There will inevitably be challenges along the way. That is part of entrepreneurship.
What matters is continuing to move forward with curiosity, discipline and integrity.
My journey has already taken me through different countries, industries and chapters.
There is still much more to build.
